Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah presented a total contribution of BND121,700 to 38 families who fell victims in the fires in Kampung Pandai Besi and Kampung Sungai Panga. The donation presentation ceremony was held at the Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Complex.

The donations were presented by Dato Seri Paduka Awang Mohd Riza bin Dato Paduka Haji Mohd Yunos, Deputy Minister for Public Services Governance at at the Prime Minister's Office, who is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah. The Department of Zakat, Waqaf and Baitulmal Affairs (JUZWAB), Ministry of Religious Affairs also presented the donation, which was handed over by Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Mohammad Tashim bin Pengiran Haji Hassan, Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs as the Vice President of the Brunei Islamic Religious Council.
